Meet at the back end of the parking area along side White Pine Trail, (note there is another entrance to the park so enter the lot off of Belmont Ave)
This park has a wide variety of habitats and always has a good offering of resident birds; song, water and raptors are expected.
Essentials: we are getting an early to start to enjoy the morning chorus and so that we don’t have to do too much path sharing. Bug spray may be needed, binoculars and the Merlin app are great tools, shoes with good traction will help with slippery footing by the stream.
Birders of all skill levels are welcome. Bathrooms are available and if this is a family outing-there is a playground at the other entrance of this park. We should be finishing up between 9 and 10am
