Meet at the parking lot at 6440 West River Dr NE. This is great woodpecker habitat and the mature woods, beside the Grand River, and many inland ponds are popular with a number of small and large birds of prey.

Essentials: This evening will involve walking on trails that are often muddy, bug spray may be needed, binoculars and the Merlin app are great tools. Birders of all skill levels are welcome. There are port-a-johns.
