September 2020: Ocola Skipper
On 16 September 2020 Rhonda Spink photographed an Ocola Skipper at Wau-Ke-Na Preserve near Fennville in Allegan Co. MI. Jack Reinoehl and Dennis Dunlap were with her on the Allegan Co. MI exploration. This is the second sighing of the Ocola Skipper in Michigan. Fall is good time look for rarities because south winds often bring southern species into the north country.
